David Shusterman, MD, attended Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, NY, and received his medical degree in 1998. Then, he served his urology and general surgery residency at RWJ University Hospital/Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He has treated patients at RWJ University Hospital, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC, and University of Chicago Medicine in Chicago, IL. He became Chief Resident in 2006. In addition, Dr. Shusterman received board certification in urology from the American Board of Urology. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the American Foundation for Urologic Disease and the American Urological Association, New York Section.
